We are seeking a talented and imaginative sneaker customiser to join our team for ongoing freelance projects. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of creative flair, meticulous attention to detail, and a deep appreciation for sneaker culture. As a customiser at LSS, you will be instrumental in designing and executing bespoke customisations that meet our high standards of creativity and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement custom sneaker projects, ensuring they meet client specifications and quality standards.
Stay abreast of sneaker culture trends, materials, and customization techniques to incorporate innovative ideas into projects.
Conduct workshops and hands-on sessions for students, sharing knowledge and techniques in sneaker customisation.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring tools and materials are properly cared for.
Participate in school events, showcases, and collaborations, representing the London Sneaker School and its ethos.
Requirements:
Proven experience in sneaker customisation, with a portfolio showcasing diverse and creative projects.
Proficiency in various customization techniques, including painting, air brushing and stenciling.
Strong understanding of sneaker construction, materials, and design principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and students.
A passion for education and the willingness to share skills and knowledge with aspiring customisers.
Flexibility to adapt to project demands and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Based in London, can travel internationally for projects.
